The ordering itself was fine. The problem was that I was not made aware that an import tax was payable and this created problems with delivery and increased the final cost of the garment

The product arrived and is a beautiful work of clergy apparel; thank you. Ackermann also has NOTHING to do with U.S. tariff laws; however, it was a shock to get a notice from UPS that my package could not be delivered unless I paid the 'import taxes' on it. I almost cancelled the order and sent it back...suggestion, put a note on the shipping that if the order is going to the U.S., the NEW U.S. tariffs WILL apply before deliver. As much as I like your products, I can't afford to pay an additional $70+ in tariffs on top of $250+ for the product and $50+ in shipping (all legitimate, not complaining about your costs). There is another Dalmatic I had 'saved' but I won't be ordering due to the tariffs. Again, not your fault.

The COST of Shipping is a deal-breaker. $53.0 shipping on a $90.00 purchase. Plus, now DHL adds a $37.00 IMPORT FEE. Making shipping alone as much as the item I purchased. This is because the products come FROM Poland. The product seems OK...but I refused acceptance from DHL because of the prohibitive shipping costs. This was NOT explained on the website BEFORE purchase.
