The colour green is used for service during Ordinary Time. After the Epiphany and Christmas, and before Lent. As well as between Easter and Advent.
The green colour in the Catholic church symbolizes life, hope, youth, victory, peace, fertility and immortality. Green chasubles are used almost all year round in the ordinary period - per annum. In the Bible, green is represented as the color of the Lord's Garden. Additionally, the Bishop's Cross is green, which gives hope for a soul's journey to paradise.

This chasuble is beautiful. The picture really doesn't do it justice. I am well pleased with the quality of the orphrey and the manufacturing of this piece! Also, the staff at Ackermann's was absolutely amazing allowing me to customize what I wanted and responding very promptly to my emails.
Lovely elegant chasuble. A very nice rose colour which is not at all too pink. The size was just right (we ordered a small) for our small clergy. It hangs very nicely.
I was surprised just how smart this chasuble looks. Excellent value for money and beautifully made. Also very easy to clean. Excellent finish. I asked for a Marian blue lining which really makes the garment. Excellent.
